New research has been published by the National Innovation Centre for Rural Enterprise looking at the effect of remote working on rural communities. The initial report has been published following research being undertaken by a PhD student named Kirsten Clarke.

The research is looking at the effect of Covid-19 on how people work in rural communities and how to create thriving communities following the pandemic. As part of this work, she has looked specifically at how the new world of work could benefit the rural economy and way of life.
