The Welsh Government has announced that the Wales Climate Week will return between 11 and 15 November 2024 in order to continue the public discussion regarding how we can face the challenges of climate change in Wales. Similar to last year, the main event of the week is a 5-day conference where a variety of experts, policy makers, academics and various stakeholders will take part in presentations, lectures and panel discussions in order to discuss that which is needed in order to secure a future which is ready for climate change.

The theme this year is ‘Shaping a Climate Resilient Future’ and the event will run at the same time as the COP29 climate conference in Baku, Azerbaijan. The week will also follow the publication of the Welsh Government’s climate resilience strategy which will outline the best ways to plan with regard to climate change across different sectors.
