ARFOR Programme to hold Welsh spaces workshop

January 2024 | Arfor, Featured

The organisers of the ARFOR Programme have announced that they are to hold a workshop in order to discuss creating Welsh language spaces in the workplace. The workshop will be held in the form of a webinar, and the organisers are keen for those that are interested in the relationship between the language and the world of work to attend.

The aim of the session is to help to foster understanding of how to improve the visibility of the Welsh language in the workplaces of the ARFOR region.

The session will start by giving a brief outline of the ARFOR project’s background, before moving on to look at the research that exists on the benefits using and highlighting Welsh in the workplace. Then there will be a discussion around how exactly individuals can put the Welsh language ‘to work’ in their workplaces, that will also give an overview of some of the resources available in order to achieve this.

The webinar will be held on Tuesday 23 of January between 2 and 3:30pm through the medium of Welsh. To register for the event, follow this link to the Eventbrite page.
