Languages Lanean Congress 2024 to be organised by Basque Government

The Languages Lanean Congress 2024 is being organised by the Basque Government and will be held on 18 and 19 January next year. The purpose of the congress is to concentrate on the problems that arise in language policy in the world of work, and to share best practice for language planning in socio-economic terms, bringing together local and international stakeholders.

Over two days in Bilbao, the congress will be held in the Euskalduna Palace on the first day, before moving to the Guggenheim Museum for the second day. The event is being organised by The Department of Culture and Language Policy of the Basque Government along with the Economic Development, Sustainability and Environment department. The Congress will be open to members of the public and anyone who as an interest in the field of language planning. You can find more information by following this link.
