Visit Wales to hold roadshows for tourism industry

Representatives from Visit Wales will be travelling the length and breadth of the country this autumn, in the name of holding one day events for the tourist industry in Wales. The aim of the tour is to give an opportunity for those who run and work in the tourism sector in Wales have access to the latest information regarding marketing, development and support as well as the latest news and research guiding the field at the moment.

Joining Visit Wales will be Events Wales along with a local guest speaker from the tourism industry that will address attendees. The hope is that the various activities, including trade stalls and question and answer sessions will provide and excellent opportunity for industry stakeholders to network and forge new connections.

The events will start at 10am (with registration opening at 9:15am) and will run until 3pm, with an additional optional session running between 3pm and 4pm with the Events Wales team who will be discussing Tourism Exchange Great Britain (TXGB). This is a platform that networks booking systems and inventories of tourismt businesses with a worldwide system of distributors that people across the globe can order through.

The show will visit the following locations:

  • Thursday 12 October 2023, Coldra Court Hotel, Langstone, Newport
  • Wednesday 18 October 2023, Llangollen Pavillion, Llangollen
  • Wednesday 25 October 2023, Medrus Convention Centre, Aberystwyth University
  • Wednesday 8 November 2023, Swansea.com Stadium, Swansea
