Academics from Aberystwyth University conducting research into rural loneliness are looking for volunteers to share their experiences.

The researchers have already interviewed third sector institutions and the project has identified factors unique to rural settings that can worsen loneliness among individuals. In the next part of the project, they are keen to speak to individuals who live in rural areas or believe themselves to belong to a rural community in order for them to continue with their research and draft proposals. You can do this by emailing stj@aber.ac.uk and you can find out more details about the project on Aberystwyth University’s website by following this link.
