The Welsh Community Pubs Network have announced that they are conducting an informal networking event for community pubs in Wales to meet and discuss their work. The meeting will be held on Zoom on Thursday 29 June at 6:30pm.

The session is organised by the Plunkett Foundation and will start with a talk with members of the Salusbury Arms group from Denbyshire who will be discussing developing their pub. Then there will be an open session in order to discuss different aspects of community ownership of pubs. There will also be representation from Cwmpas and WCVA.

Community ownership of pubs is increasing in popularity, as communities realise the value a pub can provide as a community hub for individuals to come together.
