The next round of funding to create woodlands in Wales opens from 24 July until 15 September. This is the last chance this year to apply for funding to plant trees this winter. According to Welsh Government the closing date has moved forward because of an increase in payment due to the increasing costs of creating woodland. You can get more information about the tree planting grants and that which makes you eligible by contacting Rural Payments Wales by following this link.
